A new facility of the global edutainment concept opened its doors to visitors at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall
October 1st, 2019. Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Located at Yas Mall, KidZania Abu Dhabi, the newest Metropolis of the Nation, was buzzing with excitement as the interactive city specially designed for children celebrated its Foundation Day.
Hosted by radio presenter Kris Fade, the foundation ceremony highlighted the contribution of KidZania to developing an authentic entertainment and learning environment for children, families and schools.

Special music and dance performances, anthems, flag raising and the lighting of the Eternal Spirit monument, were some of the elements that were included during this moving and exciting foundation. The ceremony also featured members from Central Government, many KidZania States, eminent local business and marketing partners, industry partners as well as Emaar Entertainment representatives.

The foundation ceremony was followed by the customary ribbon-cutting event the subsequent day, where KidZania Abu Dhabi opened its doors to UAE kids and families.
Spanning over 55,000 square feet, KidZania Abu Dhabi is a scaled down replica of a bustling city with over 60 role-playing activities of real-life professions specially designed for children aged 2 to 14. At KidZania, kids learn about various professions in a fun, interactive manner, helping them to develop decision-making, teamwork, creativity, and social skills.
KidZania Abu Dhabi is the 28th KidZania Metropolis in the world and the second location in the United Arab Emirates.
