Chicago, United States. After a 1,200 miles excursion from Sanford, Florida, a Boeing 737 landed at the Oakbrook Center, future home of KidZania Chicago. The 15-ton, 68-feet long, decommissioned aircraft, arrived at its final destination, where it will be refitted to host role-playing activities such as the aviation academy, where children will have the opportunity to train to become pilots and cabin crew and learn about these professions.
KidZania Chicago will be the second U.S. location and is set to open by late 2019. At this brand new KidZania City, children will be able to independently explore and experience about 100 professions, while learning about financial literacy and the inner-workings of a city.
