KidZania Jeddah Opens to Tourists in Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia. KidZania Journal. January 16, 2015. (English). –This afternoon, during an exciting ceremony, KidZania Jeddah opened its doors to tourists. Mr. Xavier López Ancona –President of KidZania– and Mr. Stuart Birkwood –Governor of KidZania Saudi Arabia– pushed together the lever that literally opened the doors of KidZania Jeddah, officially inaugurating the 17th metropolis of the nation.

Hundreds of children and their parents had been waiting anxiously for this moment and were extremely happy to be among the first visitors to the only KidZania city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Interviewed by The KidZania Journal, ‘Abd al (10) said: “I am very happy to finally come to KidZania Jeddah. I have been in KidZania Dubai many times and was very excited to know that Saudi Arabia was having a KidZania of its own. That is why I asked my parents to bring me today. I will come back to KidZania Jeddah every time I can”.

Located in the Mall of Arabia, KidZania Jeddah spans over almost 9,000 sqm, offering 68 establishments like the airport, bank, university, restaurants, construction site, road building and house painting and 85 different careers and trades such as TV producer, radio broadcaster, chef and surgeon.

  • Babies (under 2 years) – SR 20
  • Toddlers (2 to 3 years) – SR 80
  • Children (4 to 14 years) – SR 140
  • Adults (16 and over) – SR 95
  • Visitors with disabilities – SR 50
